Anyway this thing is monstruously well done, I really like this arachnid-tor crossing. Devine, creepy and gigantic, everything's here for such creature.
The relic in his back and the wings give him a majestic aspect, and the flail a great brutal force impression? I still wonder how it should render with a scythe.

The 25 semi-finalist's have already been chosen, Sadly My piece is not one of them. But I am in no way sour about not being chosen, this is the first DA contest I have entered and I guarantee you it will not be my last. The way I see it, its another piece of artwork to add to my portfolio, which will eventually further my career as ''The Worlds greatest monster designer'' XD. That my friend is greater than any prize.
Dang, sorry to hear you didn't make it, but it's good to hear you've got an up-beat attitude X) I say go for it! You're one of the most talented artists I know (if not the best), there's nothing but opportunities waiting for ya ^_^
And I agree with ya on the "greater than any prize" bit, it's always a good feeling to know you've got finished works sittin' in your portfolio.
